Anasazi State Park Museum

The Mission of Anasazi State Park Museum is to preserve the prehistoric Indian Village found there, to provide for public use and education by visitors of both present and future generations, and to act as a professional archaeological research facility and artifact repository.

Collections:
Anasazi State Park Museum maintains the Coombs Archaeological Site - the largest ancestral pueblo in south-central Utah. The Museum preserves collections of artifacts and archives pertaining to the site's excavation and prehistoric cultures in south-central Utah. The Museum also interprets the collection in an economic and cultural history context. The Museum is committed to the interpretation of the collections and related topics through research and public programming with the goal of increasing public and scholarly understanding of the past and its influence on our perception of the present. The Park maintains the village and the Museum where the collections, exhibits, and documentation are housed.

Accessiblility:
Anasazi State Park Museum is located in Boulder Utah along Scenic Byway 12 between Capital Reef National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park. The Town of Boulder is adjacent to The Dixie National Forest and the Escalante Grand Staircase National Mounument.

Additional Info:
Anasazi State Park Museum offers a museum store, auditorium, and outdoor picnic areas. There are no overnight facilities available at the museum, but camping and lodging facilities are located nearby.

Admission Details:
Day Visits: $3 per person, $2 per person for groups over 8 persons, $70 annual pass.

Hours: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Summer / 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Winter
Holiday Closures: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day
