Salmon Ruins Museum & Research Library

San Juan County Archaeoloical Research Center and Library - Salmon Ruins, a non-orifit oranization, offers over 22 acres of experiences: a 19th century Pioneer Homestead Complex; Heritage Park (interactive architectural replicas); picnic areas; Salmon Ruins, an 11th century Chacoan Outlier; and an archaeologial museum featuring items recovered during the decade long excavations of Salmon Ruins.

Occassional Lecture Series; Educational Outreach; "Journey Into the Past" professional guided tours of Chaco Canyon, Pueblitos and Rock Art of the Dinetah, and other custom tours by arrangement; facilities rental; other

Accessiblility:
Museum facilities are ADA; remaining grounds are mostly level, graveled pathways.
