Responsibilities:
The Junior Designer will support the extensive international AMNH traveling exhibitions program through collaborating with 3D Design in Exhibitions and Traveling Operations. Duties will include: reconfiguring existing exhibition plans to work within new venues, producing new and revising existing exhibition install guides, monitoring and reporting on exhibitions’ install and physical condition, reviewing exhibitions under development to ensure ease of travel, and designing and managing production and implementation of fixes and travel adaptations. The designer will report to the Director of Exhibition Design and The Associate Director Traveling Exhibitions Manager.

Qualifications:
Excellent organizational and communication skills & problem solving, time management, presentation, technical & documentation skills; proficiency in Vectorworks, Photoshop and In Design; A degree in exhibition design, interior design, or architecture is preferred. Previous work experience in a related field desired.
