Description:
The Children's Museum Operations Coordinator assists the Children's Museum Director in the development and execution of the systems necessary for the operation of a successful children's museum. The Operations coordinator is responsible for integration between the Children's Museum and the diverse King Abdulaziz Center teams to ensure alignment between the Children's Museum's requirements and the Center's operational planning. This includes interfacing with the Center's components in the development and maintenance of strong operational frameworks for the operations of the Children's Museum as well as coordination with the Center's retail, food, health, safety, maintenance, gardening, visitor services, public relations, and marketing teams to ensure that children's products and services offered through the center are aligned with the focus and requirements of the Children's Museum. The Operations Coordinator will also mentor the Children's Museum's staff in the operations of a successful children's museum.

Responsibilities:
• Integrate the Children Discovery Zone (CDZ) with the different center components to reach an alignment with the Center's operational planning.

• Coordinate with the Center components in the development and maintenance of strong operational frameworks for the CDZ.

• Work with retail, food, safety, maintenance, visitor services, public relations, and marketing teams of the center to ensure that the children's products and services offered meet the focus and requirements of CDZ.

• Mentorship and training of the CDZ's staff in the operations of a successful children's museum.

Educational Requirements
A Bachelor Degree in Museum Studies, Museum Education, Cultural Institution Management or related field. Master's degree is preferred.

Skills:
You should have extensive experience in museum management, children's museum operations, project management and event management. Experience with the training of professional museum personnel is also required.

Fluency in English with excellent writing skills is required.
