About the Bradford Brinton Memorial & Museum
Located approximately 12 miles south of Sheridan, Wyoming on the Quarter Circle A Ranch the Bradford Brinton Memorial & Museum was established in 1961 through the will of Helen Brinton, who named the institution after her brother Bradford. Miss Brinton’s intent was to preserve the Quarter Circle A Ranch (now about 605 acres) and the Brintons’ collection of fine art, furnishings, historic and Native American artifacts and make them accessible to the public. The museum allows a glimpse into the life of a gentleman rancher from the 1920s and 30s, complete with splendid artwork by Frederic Remington, Charles M. Russell, Ed Borein and Frank Tenney Johnson.
