Description:
Museo de las Américas has begun taking applications for the new executive director position. A search/transition committee made up of board and community members has been formed to lead this effort.

The executive director serves as the CEO of the Museo de las Américas. Working in cooperation with the Board of Trustees and staff, the executive director defines the museum's vision, while overseeing its short-term and long-range goals. The executive director also serves as the chief spokesperson.

Additionally, the scope of responsibility includes providing leadership, artistic vision, strategic and operational planning, governance and financial management in the areas of exhibitions and collections, adult programming, education programs, development/fundraising, finance, staff management, community relations, facilities, volunteer development, and other special project areas.
