Description:
The African American History Foundation of Nashville Inc. is seeking a strategic leader to lead the development of the new museum. The ability to engage a strong volunteer base, lead successful fundraising campaigns, and collaborate with  community leaders in partnership with the staff and Board of Directors is essential. The scope of this position is broad, requiring a philanthropic outlook and the ability to gain support and confidence throughout the Nashville area. Successful candidate must hold a bachelors/masters degree preferred from an accredited organization with a minimum of 5 years progressive museum management experience. Candidates should have a strong background in fundraising, communications, project management, community relations, and strategic planning.      

Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
