Description:
Ambitious self-starter needed to serve as Account Executive for direct response marketing agency that serves as a fundraising and membership consultant for numerous museum and performing arts clients. Located outside Washington, D.C.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include serving as the day-to-day client contact and managing all aspects of direct mail production for multiple projects. The position also assists in the strategy development of the client's fundraising and membership program as it relates to direct response (to include direct mail, telemarketing and internet).
Skills:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-4 years prior membership, fundraising and/or direct mail experience, be extremely well-organized, pay meticulous attention to detail, and able to multi-task. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are also necessary to be successful. Proficiency in Excel preferred. Must have experience with non-profits — either working for an agency or at a non-profit.
