We have a variety of fun seasonal positions! Showcase your drama and musical talents, promote your sales and customer service abilities or get in touch with nature by working outdoors in the beautiful Straits of Mackinac area in northern Michigan. Available positions include: Airport Aide American Indian Interpreters Grounds/Maintenance Crew Guest Service Representatives Historic Interpreters (male and female) Historic House Interpreters (female) Exhibit Maintenance Technician Musicians/Historic Interpreters (fiddlers, drummers, buglers, bagpipers, and fifers) Naturalist Lighthouse Interpreter Exhibit Cleaner (Fort Mackinac) Mackinac State Historic Parks is looking for talented and enthusiastic seasonal employees for our summer season at our sites on Mackinac Island or in Mackinaw City. Most of our positions will start in early May, but we do have some positions that will start in early June (or dates in-between). Positions will work to the end of August or into mid October (or dates in-between). We are willing to consider filling any of the positions listed as an internship if the student requests it. These are seasonal positions hired for the summer season only. Positions generally work between ten and 23 weeks. Low cost housing available - approximately $96.00 a month - for employees who do not live in the Straits of Mackinac area.
